The Taylor 517e is a Grand Pacific dreadnought body shape acoustic-electric guitar that features solid Urban Ironbark back and sides, torrefied spruce top. With this wood combination will hear a muscular yet sweet response with remarkable balance across the tonal spectrum, offering power and clarity in equal measure. The V-Class bracing dials up more power and longer sustain, drawing out more of Ironbark’s rosewood-esque qualities and enhancing the seasoned, warm character. Subtle appointments such as a green abalone rosette, faux tortoiseshell binding and Marquise inlays in Italian acrylic round out the package, which includes ES2 electronics.
